Gen Chem Fun Fact

Naming Toxic Gas

let's name Sodium hypochlorite and Ammonia!!!
sodium is Na. Hypochlorite is Chlorine and oxygen that has the very lowest oxidation state, which is ClO. This creates NaClO which is bleach Nitrogen is N. Trihydride is H3, we add prefix "tri" because there is 3 hydrogen atoms, this is NH3 which is Ammonia.
Mixing NaClO) and NH3 creates Chloramine gas which is a toxic gas similar to Mustard gas that can lead to coma or worse, death!!!

Chemical Formula of Coke and Meth

C10H15N is methamphetamine and C17H21NO4 is cocaine <3.
It is worth noting that both addictive drug contains Carbon, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen
